About Me
Hello! My name is Chris and I am a bicycle obsessed car aficionado, born and raised on Cape Cod. It's home to strong cycling and car communities with people like me swimming in both ends of the pool.
Like all kids, I liked riding my bike. But my love affair with them kicked off in middle school when I got my first “real” bike, a Cannondale Killer V 900. Soon, friends and I were riding all of the trails we could find. After a bit of a hiatus during college, I got my first road bike and haven’t stopped since.
I’ve spent most of career in the automotive industry. From RMV runner, to accidental sales person, and service advisor, I’ve spent more than my fair share of time in dealerships. In 2013 I made the leap to wholesale parts distribution with an independent supplier. I worked my way to managing a branch fairly quickly and managed to successfully appease three vastly different owners.
I’m an ASE P2 Certified Parts Professional and EPA Section 609 Certified MHVAC certified. To the uninitiated those sound like much bigger deals than they are, but everyone needs a few credentials hanging in their Zoom background.
My love of cars is eclectic, but if I had to be pigeon holed into a camp I’m a “golden era” BMW lover. 1985-ish to 2005-ish. I ride in the neighborhood of 4,500 miles per year, mostly on the road these days. I'm always looking for a vintage frame to resto-mod back to relevance as a winter project, so if there's a Binachi Pinella in your garage drop me a line!
It's a tight squeeze in my garage, but there's always room for one more, right?
